Love Tony's Pizza!!! Great pizza, excellent service and frankly I cannot find any fault. Tony himself is on the premises and it's classic Brooklyn old school pizzeria- made with oodles of cheese and pride

This could be my favorite shop, but I have a problem with no gloves being used in the establishment by ALL employees. I witnessed the owner ask for a salad bowl from the back. It looked amazing until I saw him use his finger to push a leaf back in the bowl. Why?!!!!!
No gloves means no visits from me. I wish I could say better as it's a community pizza shop, but just remember not everyone washes their hands as frequently as they should. I saw him use the intercom, pick up a paper receipt twice and then use his right hand to touch a salad and arrange the corn in the platter.
The "gloved" Sicilian slice was amazing. Nice and soft and better than any other shop so far.

I was completely shocked to come on Yelp and see that their rating was 4 stars. Based off the experience I had yesterday I assumed it would have been a 2 or 3. But nonetheless, here we are. Against my better nature (I don't eat at hood pizza shops because shit like this) I tried this place for lunch.
I walk in and there are 3 ppl behind the counter. 1 old man, one young man with very dark arched eyebrows and a 3rd man who was moving food around behind the counter. The 3rd guy I ask can I have 2 plain slices. He says yes we have slices and walks away. I stand there confused and he continues to work and the other 2 guys continue to talk. A new customer comes in ( a guy) orders a slice, gets it, pays and leaves. Still haven't been acknowledged. The 3rd guy still ignoring me.
The old man finally asks me if I'm ready to order after I'm standing there watching them all talk amongst themselves me for like 3 minutes. I reply I placed my order with this guy and he walked away and ignored me. The guy with the very dark arched eyebrows laughs and says oh he doesn't speak English. I knew that was a damn lie as he just spoke. Ok got it, we playing that game. So as I'm giving my order again the guy "who doesn't speak English" speaks English and then proceeds to say oh I didn't know you were ordering I thought you were asking if we had slices.
I told him why would I ask that when I can clearly see y'all have slices. And even if you think I was just asking if you had slices you still didn't even ask me if I wanted to order. You walked away and then proceeded to move food around like I wasn't even standing there. I should have just walked out. But I was hungry and hot and tired. So I settled. NEVER AGAIN!
Paid $5 for 2 nasty ass slices. The dough is super thick no GREAT nyc style pizza should have crust that thick unless it's Sicilian. The dough is also super chewy . Barely any sauce on the pizza and the cheese was dense. None of these things make for good pizza. This is honesty one of the worst pizza shops in Brooklyn, hands down. The service is WACK! And the food is nasty. Absolutely no reason to stop into this place at all. The food is way over priced for the neighborhood to be this nasty. I need Brownsville to love itself because if it thinks this is the best pizza in brooklyn then I'm left to assume nobody in Brownsville has ever had real pizza before lmao.
You want good pizza try Sal & Paul's Pizzeria 10xs better all around! -

Not having much experience in this neighborhood to eat from the best pizzeria restaurant I decided to give this place a shot after seen the reviews on yelp.
Friday afternoon i called for a delivery of a large pie with chicken bacon ranch with extra cheese and a 2 litter Pepsi. Plus a order of hot wings. The order came out to $38 which I find that a bit over priced but still proceed with the order since I wanted something really good.
I order at about 2:15pm and the delivery took over 1 hour and a half I had to call back just to double check on my delivery status. They told me it was on there way.
When the delivery guy tells me he's outsider since they don't have door to door deliveries. I found it very strange since they charge so much not to deliver upstairs. Then I'm down stairs for 5 minutes I called the delivery guy and he was at the wrong building.
I told him the correct address and in less then 2 minutes he came. He was very nice great attitude so I gave him a great tip.
I honestly thought my pizza was going to be cold. Since I had bad experiences like this before.
When I open the box I was really impressed how this pizza looked. My first bite was delicious!!! I never had a pizza made so perfect like this.
I loved the crust and the extra cheese on it everything was perfect about it.
I even save le a few slices for the next day and pre heated on the oven and it was really good and tasty as if I just got it done freshly on the spot.
Looking forward to ordering from you guys great pizzeria. My only tip would be you guys need either faster delivery service.
